Information You Send
Search Terms
When a visitor enters a name, location, or other term into a search box operated by a third-party provider, that query is sent to the provider that runs the tool. Twiggs County Busted Mugshots does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider's privacy notice controls its handling of the query after transmission.
Messages and Contact Details
An email or contact submission may include a name, address, phone number, email address, and the contents of the message. That information is kept so a response can be prepared and the exchange can be handled. It is not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law or needed to address a security or abuse issue.
Technical Data from Visits
Routine page requests may produce basic technical and usage records. These details help the service load properly, understand traffic, and investigate faults:
- Internet Protocol address
- Browser name and version
- Device category and operating system
- Pages viewed and the time spent on each page
- The referring site, when a referral is provided
- Request and visit timestamps
Cookies and Similar Tools
Cookies and related technologies may show how visitors use the service and help remember technical settings. A browser can block or remove cookies. Some functions may load differently, or work less fully, when those files are disabled.
How Information Is Used
- Keep the Twiggs County reference pages available and responsive
- Send a search request to the partner service designed to handle it
- Measure which topics and pages visitors find useful
- Diagnose errors, abuse, and other technical problems
- Display advertising that may be relevant to general interests
Links Beyond This Service
Pages may link to the Twiggs County Sheriff's roster and open-records pages, booking feeds, court offices, the Georgia Department of Corrections, federal locators, and outside search tools. Once a visitor follows a link, the destination's own privacy statement and terms govern its collection and use of information. Twiggs County Busted Mugshots does not control those systems.
Advertising partners may also use their own technologies to observe activity across different websites for interest-based advertising. That tracking takes place on the partner's systems, not through a promise that this service can see or manage every outside profile.
Possible Data Recipients
Personal information is not sold by Twiggs County Busted Mugshots. Information may nevertheless reach the following recipients when a visitor uses a relevant feature or when disclosure is legally required:
- Search partners that receive a submitted query
- Analytics providers that measure visits and page performance
- Advertising networks and their service vendors
- Law-enforcement or government bodies acting under a valid legal order
